Any serious government should realise that our NIMC is of topmost priority. Full implementation of the NIN and integration with other methods of identification ie passports, BVN, drivers license, PVC etc should be on the front burner. The system should be up and running before the next election cycle begins.
Until we know who is who and who is not who in our country virtually every other system - legal, education, health, social welfare, security - will not function properly.
By now the NIMC should be in a state of emergency. No one working there should get more than 3 hours of sleep a night. Lol. Seriously.
But this is Nigeria. We excel at majoring on minors.
